#MyKids- Serious Questions and Answers

'Mommy, how the baby is made and put in your perut?'....the question that will stunt every parents. I didn't know at first how to answer. What she wanted to know? So i took the approach by explaining as stated in the Holy Quran from a lump of blood into flesh and etc. I might have covered up a bit.Its hard to explain to a 3 year old which vocabulary is limited and she keep on asking what other word means. I also had to be really careful in what i say. I hope i did well in explaining as this will be the core to her faith.

Then i was making Sofea sleep and i sand the song from Aris Ariwatan,"Kasih Nan Abadi". She was listening. I sang only up to"......kasihnya ayah". She ask me,' Siapa mother kita kena sayang dulu?'. Well according to this song is ALLAH the almighty the creator of Mankind. Second would be your mother, cause she was the one who gave birth to you, nurtured and also taken care of you, third would be your father as he has taken care of you providing you with everything he can and keeping you safe from harm.

She ask me, " Mother why ALLAH dulu?"..gulp!~ So i had a long winded talk with her bout faith and religion. I dunno if she understood. She look like she did and she got the facts right.and i hope i did well. I dont want her faith to be shattered when she grows up and i want her to have a strong foundation. I told her everything in this world, the earth, trees, sun and moon and everything else you like is a loan from god. He created it. And now she keep on asking me everything like ' Mother TV siapa buat?','Mother, ALLAH buat makanan jugak ke?'. I took the time to explain all i can, and some i said, when you grow big you will understand but everything you do ALLAH is watching over you.

I know i have to take time and talk to them about things like this, but in a kids way. Youth now days are drifted from their parents faith, religion and even beliefs. So its my duty to make sure she holds on to something firm and INSYALLAH be someone if not "A big shot somebody" but at least a "Somebody with faith".
