Phew!!..today I have been roaming around Glenamrie & Subang scouting around for something. So far and i have come across many interesting places to eat and take a walk. But unfortunately not today. No No..today is Friday. I am in a rush.
Friday Prayers, the muslim guys in jeans, baju melayu, slack, jubah all walking up to the Masjid. We however we chilling in the car by McDonalds in i dunno subang berapa.
This wat we did while waiting for Papa and 'Tan Sri N' finishing solat Jumaat. Playing taxi taxi taxi..in the car and snapping pictures. Xde kerja kan. Later we went around to Bangsar South and then to Sarah's favourite place to eat. Then we headed to KWC it was almost time to go home.
Sofea came down suddenly with hot fever so we brought her to the clinic around PUDU. After taking 1 dose of the medicine she was up and about. It has been a week she was having on and off fever. We went to the government clinic and they gave us Fever and cough medicine. But her fever did no go down. Alhamdulillah this time it was a calm night for me. See at 11 i am online blogging this down.
Halao..long time haven't see this page. Long time no write.Well, a lot of things nak blog down but always no time, mood. Sometimes half way done and then just save as draft. Well the 3rd weekend in march pass by. Weekend started on Friday for me. Went cupboard hunting with the family but ended up at Ikea buying A red tag cupboard for RM 199. I was satisfied cause i can hang my clothes, there are cubicles for my 'smaller' clothes and also space for the kids. All in this 3 door cupboard.
Well only it was brown wood colour cause my husband likes everything woody. I think we should live in a log cabin. Maybe one day we would, and he will be the one who built it. Later that night, Khai called up and ask if could lend a hand with his moving items. So we went to Old Klang road after shop closes and help to move things. Bukan angkat barang lebih, tapi more lepak minum air and watch Lawak Ke Der?. Sofea made friends with Airyn. After moving things we headed to Bangsar and ate at Nirwana Maju. A banana leaf concept kedai with people queueing from one end to another. Heran aku. Sedap sangat ke? we were joined in with Zura, Azwan, Hanim and another friend Hanim brought over. It was past 1 am and so Zura headed to Selayang instead spending the night.
The next day we hang out at home, pooling, makan as usual and movie watching. Ouh the day before that we went pass brickfields and bought some TAMIL & HINDUSTANI horror movies. We went looking for the movie KANCHANA. Found it at last. Sampai orang kedai tu ketawa.So that night we wacth horror movies sampai 4am. Ouh..cerita hantu Tamil ni lagi power dari cerita hantu Melayu. Lagi seram...only x tahan is the action lebih tu je.
Sunday, we went to shop cause later we wanted to cacth the Traditional Dance Final at KWC where Adam made an appearance. Xdela minat ADAM but since we were there for the Dance tengok je la Adam. Well that was the weekend for me.
Happy birthday to March babies. I started my first celebration with my hubby on March 2nd. Busy with work we went for italian dinner with the kids one day before and on the day itself we had McD.Not much of a celebration.Happy 30th Birthday.
3rd of March was my late Grandpa's birthday.
5th of March, one of my ex colleagues birthday. She asked for an Ikea meatball session with the kids but we were back in Melaka. So when i got back from KL we met up and had Sukhumvit.
On the 8th was my Darling Yaya's birthday. Had so many things planned out for her but most of it x did not work out cause there was always something coming up a day before. However her Dada nizam came and we had a baked cake from Melaka. She was happy.WE had Subway..ahahah...terbalik.Kids had Subway dad had McD. I am happy that she did not ask for presents or anything. But she demanded for a cake. Good girl yaya. Her birthday present was given to her 2 weeks in advance without her noticing.

9th of March, one of my friends from Melaka, recently hooked up again Fiona Amelda's birthday.She asked us out dinner with her and we went to Desa Pandan to eat Nasi Ayam Penyet. So again the March babies had they 'Dinner'.We hang out till 1 am and when back. Sofea however was so happy she could stay up late felt asleep in the car on the way home and Sarah felt asleep in the kedai itself.
10th March, little baby SQQ's birthday. We were invited to his little birthday but we couldn't make it due to some circumstances. I had so many relatives arriving to handle and of course how can i forget i have them staying with me. Happy birthday SQQ, raincheck okay little men. I'll see you soon when my schedule gets cleared. Aunty cant planned right, right now. InsyaALLAH.
Read about the missing kid in Johor. Rasa sedey, marah, and traumatised. I keep thinking how if it happen to my kids. I will be devastated.My life will be black and white without colours.
The reason the mother was not aware of her missing daughter earlier on because she was on FB. This caused an uproar.Semua orang marah. Sampai kilaf x pandang diri sendiri pun sama. Also peringatan for me. People condemn her with harsh words. But to think back, we are humans.Semua ada nafsu, ada naluri even a perfect mother. Dia dalam pantang lagi so maybe sebab tu dia berehat. Eh come ne, berapa ramai ibu ibu dalam pantang berFB? jangan cakap tak, ah ramai cause they cannot do much. My husband say i am trying to defend people on FB cause I also go on FB. Some ibu without FB pun pernah hilang anak so this is not the main issue.Fathers also loose their child even though they are not on FB.
Silap si ibu is to ask a 5 year old GO ALONE. She should be accompanied by a neighbour, a sibling, her father. When i posted that link, there were some friend giving their comments by posting on my link and some trough FB chat. Most of them have 2 children, 1 child. Dia ni anak dah 3 to add she is a young mothher.And you nak bermegah sebab you have done a great job. Not today maybe tommorow my friend. Things can just turn around at you.They lashed out words like "..dah jadi baru nak sesal buat apa, nak nagis pun x guna, siapa suruh leka.". To me, senang la cakap sebab kau x rasa. Cuba u put yourself in their shoes.I did and it felt painful just to think of something like that happening to me. Apatah lagi if truly happen. How would you fee? Cukup la you cakap dia salah. FullStop. Jangan torment dia with other words.Dah la dalam pantang, and to face this, ibu itu cukup kuat.
I agree with the writer. Kenapa nak salahkan ibu je. We as masyarakat, we x prihatin. Ada some of my friends cakap.' Hire la maid kalau tahu x mampu nak jaga banyak.',' Buat anak nak, jaga x tahu.'. I was disappointed sikit with this friend of mine. Itukan rezeki tuhan, how to say tak nak. Ibu ayah dia x mengeluh pun cuma terlalai sikit saja. Parents mana x lalai? Cuba look at your child,yang kena gigit, scar jatuh, lebam jatuh all shows the imperfection of you as a parent. Jadi kenapa nak salahkan ibu ni. Ah yes, yang nak suh hire maid. You maybe can afford, Have you thought bout others? Nak anta Taska pun x selamat sampai kena balut2. Abih maid x pernah ke dera anak dia? salah siapa kalau kena dera? Salah Maid?..x salah ibu sebab x jaga sendiri!. So no one is good.
What i am curious is where is the Father during this and why was he remanded for? Orang slalu cakap, jaga anak is tanggungjawab ibu. Salah, is ayah dan ibu. But always ibu akan try to handle as much as they can. Fathers nowdays, you should take interest in your kids from babies. Create that bond. Sebab your child is your future, your assets, the one that will pray for you here after. Know you kid from small, is not easy tau. You fathers some come back from work and see your kids all cleaned up and ready for bed, but you dont know what a mother goes trough so that your kids will be contented as they are when you come back.Its no office work staying at home
And the killer, tergamak ko buat budak kecil macam tu. If i had the power to change ruling and if it happen to me. I penjarakan that killer in my house for a year and torture and torment him sepuas hati. Sampai he wished he didnt do it and he wished he was dead, then i let him go to prison. Still that would not heal the wound of missing my baby and makes me..lagi teruk dari dia kan. Tapi itu kalau ikut perasaan tanpa fikir la.

Have you watch the TV recently, (MALAYSIAN TV). There this one advertisement which i think is ridiculous and annoying.Its a milk advert. I forgot which milk but the plot goes like this. The girl wants to eat bread, but the bread finish so she runs out to call the "mamak roti' on his bike. Cause she is a little girl, he cant hear or see her as she is calling within her house compound. Meaning dia belakang gate la. So dia minum susu ni,otak dia bijak, pandai, sel sel bergabung la konon dan dia kemudian nampak her mom mopping the floor. Lalu dia mendapat idea untuk tulis ROTI di tengah jalan supaya "mamak roti" tu berhenti.
FIRST OF ALL, orang bawak motor mana la pandang bawah! Mamak tu tak akan notice sebab satu lagi motor dia penuh dengan barang. Dia can only pandang depan.SECONDLY, kalau dia boleh keluar dari gate dia tuk tulis perkataan ROTI tu, kenapa x diri je tepi rumah dia, di luar pagar dan lambai atau panggil mamak tu?.THIRDLY, bahaya kan budak kecik tulis tulis tengah jalan. SO means susu ni buat budak keluar rumah tanpa fikir ker? kata sel bergabung (cam ADAM & STACY pulak). FOURTHLY, kalau dia pandai, x payah sampai penatkan diri amik mop, ngan nak tulis lagi. X pandai namanya tu. Menyusahkan diri.
Tapi kalau 1st time tengok, memang x rasa apa. Aku dah banyak kali tengok sampai YAYA cakap, nak beli susu tu sebab dia leh tulis2. Dah Sarah, you bukan minum pun..ni semua advertising tuk get budak budak ask their parents to buy pastu x minum. hohohoho!!
I miss my moms home cook portuegesse food. So I went on hunts to find Halal non Malay food. And i found a gem in Bangsar South, a cosy and pleasant place, makes me feel homey and surrounded by an elegant atmosphere, AT the SPHERE (it ryhmes). It serves home good HALAL (the most important part,Yes it is with the cert) local MALACCA PORTUGUESE FOOD;(okay i got all the important points bold and CAPs).
So last tuesday, after a tiring day with the kids at Kenanga we went for dinner at Simply Mels. It isnt hard to find. Once you reach Sphere you can locate Simple Mels by just looking up. So me, hubby, his uncle and my 2 kids walk in at 8.30pm. The place was not that crowded. They have indoor and outdoor. No doubt the 2 gentlemans with me would prefer out,but they choose to be indoors.

It was cosy.Just like my grandma's place. So we had, Curry Debal (Curry Devil), Sambal Udang Petai, Kluak Sambal, Sotong Garing and rice. We ordered something else but did not come. I forgot what was it. For me, the kluak sambal and curry devil was enough!!
Curry Devil was awesome.How mom would cook but of course mom your's the best.I've been eating it from the moment i learn how to chew. The Sambal Udang Petai, wow you guys should try. The petais were fresh and the udang was..bigger than my thumb! And pedas..thats what i like. For those who eatKluak, a type of nutty fruit or something, you would love the Kluak Sambal. Uncle and husband enjoyed the Sotong Garing, Basically sotong garing are juicy slices of sotong fried with tepung!. There were more on the menu. I felt like ordering everything. Tamak la pulak.
His Uncle acted like a kid, entertaining Yaya & Pippa with culinary fights.Tsk.its enough i had 2, now adding another 1. Husband look at his uncle with a weird face. We had fun actually that dinner, laughing and playing with the kids. After settling the bil, I walked behind and asked the waiter if i could see the chef who is actually, My mom's cousin, so merangkap My cousin aunty. Chef Melba Nunis Victor. Awesome. We use to visit to her place when we were kids like Yaya & Pippa, me and my sister. She wouldn't recognise me now. But after introducing myself, she left the kithcen, took out her apron and came to chat . Both of us were thrilled,happy and yet shocked. What a small world. No wonder it tasted like home.
So you guys who wants a taste of Malacca Portuegese food. Part of the Malaysia Heritage as history itself is written. Come down over to Simply Mels, if you are in KL or anywhere near. Its Halal, its homey, its cosy and the chef is a very nice and down to earth lady.

My Brother: Trapped in prisson with Mickey Mouse. So i assumed My hubby will be with him cause he is handcuffed to Mickey
My Sizter: Handcuffed for life to my mom. Ahhahah that is like so true..so she will be on the island with Kirby.
So to conclude:: My husband, my brother will be in one cell cause My brother is in prison with Mickey and my husband unfortunately is handcuffed for life to Mickey. The cell next to him will be Pippa with Mario. And the next cell will be Dad with Bowser; ALL of them in one big jail.
My mom and zizter will be on an island stuck with Kirby who later changed to Chuck Norris cause i change the human population to Chuck Norris. Unfortunately, my zizters husband thought he better changed them all again to my best friends...so i have many clones of friends now. Thanks Mate! My sister the last one of course will be on the Island as well cause she is handcuffed to my mom for life. SO means all my sister will be on this Island, Hawaii maybe??.
However the only one that will be free and lingering as happy as can be is Yaya with her Unicorn. I bet her unicorn can Fly too..eheheheh..
