::World of Mine::My Longest Weekend..Day 1..::

I had a wonderful start to a weekend of good company.....and here i blog!

Start:: Friday 21st October 2011.

Time:: 12pm.

Starting Point:: Sri Kembangan, Selangor D.E

I arrive the day before taking the bus with my 2 kids. The journey-okay la tade banyak orang in the bus. Hassle pun kurang. Sarah was excited, she kept on talking about her previous trips, about visit to Genting Highlands..(aku xde cakap pun nak pergi High Lands). We took the 5pm bus and arrive at the wonderful Terminal Bus Sepadu in Bandar Tasik Selatan at 7pm. Picked up by dear friend Zakiah. My sister was suppose to pick me up but she had some last important job errands to do and she had to pick up my BIL. KL-rain..not fun at all. The whole night. We stop at Equine for KFC. Dah lapar sangat la katakan and then home and chill. Brrr...sejuk outside okay

...The Roadtrip...

We headed out mulanya nak pergi Cosmos theme park kat Berjaya Time Square. Bawak Sarah jalan jalan, then fikir, waste sebab dia je nak main. Yang lain x nak main sebab, most grown up rides budak budak xleh naik. vice versa.1st we headed for Brunch. lapar sudah. had bread je morning. So we went to Nasi Ayam Hainan Chee Meng at Bukit Bintang. Yummilicious and superb..kenyang sampai petang! Sarah and Sofea enjoyed. Makan banyak...Sofea biasala..she just wants to walk around.

Then I call Ana thought of meeting her at Imbi but she was not working so we decided to go on a road trip. Some ideas came up-Penang, Ipoh, Cherating, Kuantan...but My BIL (Wan) being the only guy (sensible kot) cam xnak go far cause dia x spontaneous like my sis said. Me and my friends also my sis use to go on spontaneous trips from before.We just get up and hit the road see where it brings us. Sometimes we find unique and awesome places in the nook and corner of nowhere.My hubby then BF would also join in.This time he was elsewhere doing his own roadtrip.How i wish he was with us..it would be awesome. I always see him as our map, the guide that brings us to ntah mana mana. So we decided to head to the Highlands. I did promise Sarah a cold climate place-Bukit Tinggi.

MasyaALLAH so cantikkan the clouds after rain contrast again the lushes of green grass and trees.

As we headed to the destination pick, sun was still shinning. Suddenly bila sampai Genting Sempah ( almost to Genting Highlands), the car started to gegar and the steering seems to tremble. Alamak!! we thought that prob it had to do with the balancing had lari la..ahahah...so we stop at Janda Baik to find a Car service shop or a tyre shop. Tapi alangkah terkejutnya..we found a lot of seafood restaurant. heran x? mana laut? Here, in the highlands, between valleys..surrounded by dark green lushes trees..ade SEAFOOD RESTAURANT...next to each other lagi. My sister pointed out she thought it was weird. We did not find any help and was told the nearest would be in Bentong. That was like 25km ahead and 10 km further than the destination.

When ZM's tyre pecah we had to change..ni tengah bincang..'Should we play futsal while we wait' ahahha

So we went to Bentong..nice place.By now the clouds had turn grey and time was running out. We just found out we had to be at the top before 6pm or we will be denied entrance. Clocked time :: 3.25pm :: Nak tak nak kena tukar tayar kan. Takut nanti naik bermasalah or lari licin ke. Hah..so changed tyre and then headed to the High Lands. Skali we salah jalan. Had to follow the Old Karak road which was winding and much longer. It was much near the hillside and rain started to shower down heavily. Means, posibbility of landslides..we were on that road for more than 40 minutes. Ya Allah, hati ni tuhan je tahu. Landslides, Batu jatuh tengah jalan, pokok tumbang, vision kurang, hujan lebat tu...at last we reach genting Sempah.So we U turn and on the highway back to Bukit Tinggi...in..the..rain..

We reach Bukit Tinggi rain had stop pouring up there. the place was nice and cold. We stroll along. Letting Sofea explore this new Place. Sarah was sour cause she just woke up. I had to carry her. Mak ai...we lepak at Colmar Tropicale. Checked out the room and they were fully booked. Tade rezeki la..Frontdesk told me have to book in advance. Walk in ni susah sikit. There was another place. Awesome as ever and much expensive-The French Chateu, itu tengok je la boleh..ahahaha..We roamed around, admiring gods handswork. MasyaALLAH..peace, calm and serenity...with Sarah & Sofea.

After eating at La Flamme,(mahal gila just for Pizza, cokes and Chic Wings)....alas perut ZM said..Waaa...thats too up high..we headed down to Kampung Baru for Sukhumvit (yeay sedap)...makan x ingat nye. So hungry and enjoyed the Kerabu mangga, Tom Yam Sukhmuvit with Daging Goreng. Smurfing malas lepas makan so we headed home. The kids enjoyed though Sarah asyik bebel when she did not get her way. I thought they would sleep at nite but unfortunatley NO. They were not as tired as us the grown ups..WE were coaxed in watching 3 idiots. ZM was the first to hit the bantal, then zura and wan. I was on and off asleep cause tengah tunggu si Pippa and Yaya tido.
