#MyWorld-The Imam on TV 9.

Today was the day of celebrating our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). From am to pm we had talks and islamic programmes on TV. But one show caught my eye, well it made Sarah listen to him as if she understands. From TV9. It was Imam Suhaib Webb. He was giving a talk on Nabi Muhammad (S.A.W) the icon.

A bit on his background, her was born Christian and converted to Islam at the age of 20.He was a Christian by name but did not practise the religion as he found it hard to believe the teaching of the 2 testament Old & New. He was a gang member, a DJ and made many record with various artist. Oh forgot to say la, he is an American . He is now married to a Malaysian Wife. Yes you will be wondering who is his wife. Tried Google for her but none to avail. I realise, as an Imam, a figure in Islam, one of 500 most influential Muslim (by Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center) sudah tentu Isteri beliau hanya untuk dia dan bukan untuk dipra tonton oleh semua orang.

Apa yang buat me tertarik bukan sebab dia Mat Saleh ( i am use to them anywhere), Bukan sebab dia mast Saleh yang convert (also dah biasa and tahu), tapi what struck me is the way he sampaikan the ceramah to people.He uses the casual voice he have,not a strain voice that sometimes some make me feel so stressed up. Cara dia sebut nama Nabi and para sahabat like how a best friend would always believe in each other and trust whatever the teachings are. Saying it with Kasih & Sayang.Recite the Quran is so soothing to the ears like it comes naturally and part of his speech.


He sents the messages of Islam in the way i can relate. He put jokes in making it not so tense.Makes me feel yes i am bad but you know change your ways, ALLAH loves you and he is always giving you time and chances to repent. Seriously he reminds me so much of my father in law. My father in law, when ever he has something to correct me, or even to share about Islam. He makes it so easy to absorb and sedar.

So i google and followed his website.I started to listen to his teaching.Read trough his writting, how he guides trough life by quoting and telling us trough the sunnah, trough the quran, trough Hadis. He made it so simple and easy. One more thing that made me rasa lain ialah, bila dia menyebut nama sahabat nabi, atau sesiapa saja ulama figure, he never missed out the Karamallahu wajhahu , radiallahu anhu (moga-moga Allah meredhainya), sollallahu alaihi wassalam (moga-moga Allah mencurahkan doa selawat dan salam kesejahteraan ke atasnya),rahimahullah (moga-moga Allah merahmatinya).or what ever it is . Some dont bother to say.


Dia berceramah in English,mungkin sebab tu jugak i feel comfortable. Sebab i am also use to listening and reading English books.No matter what bahasa it is, pick one that makes u easy to understand for ilmu without understanding and practising is no use.
