Come and sit beside me,
Take me back to yesterday,
Grow old with me under this tree,
When we were young we had much time
We sat and talk from dusk to dawn,
We laugh and cried,
We plan the future under this tree,
Mindless thinking we thought we'd be the same,

We visited when we could,
No time to sit and chat,
Had kids running around,
Too busy with schedule in life,
To tired to talk and laugh,
To earn a living was a challenge,

Lets sit on this wooden bench,
