My Pippa,

Today is your 1st birthday.Sayang, let me tell you how you made your first appearance to the world a year ago. Sofea, you were late by a week. Yerp! naughty baby you were. Over due for a week mummy was worried. You had already lessen your moves. Mummy did not want anything to happen to you..

On 2nd of November, is your Uncle Boy's birthday. He is mommy's brother and he hope you would come on his birthday. But nope, you were stubborn. No pains,no show nothing mommy had to be admitted for futher action to be done. So on 2 nd morning (Tuesday) Papa brought mummy to the hospital, before that mommy had breakfast but all the while mommy doa that nothing is wrong with you and you and me will be fine.

After sending mommy papa stayed for a while. Papa knows mommy hates to be admitted. Boring tau sayang...no one to talk to. Only strangers in labour pain that don't want to talk to you. Mommy was told if you don't come out by tomorrow (3rd November), they will force you out. Mommy hope you will come out..xnak orang paksa paksa you. All the while mommy rub you in my tummy and talk to you. Asking you if you are okay, you sad ke, you merajuk ke you x nak keluar. So mommy stayed there, the only friends mommy had is my phone and Nt Lily and Nt Ima who rajin sms balik and chat. Papa came when visiting time. Kesian papa kena ulang alik from kedai. Your kakak Sarah stayed with Mimma patiently waiting for you.

That night after late supper with Papa, mommy makan banyak. Mommy tido,it was sejuk in the ward so lena la tido. In my mind, i tahu dah sure you kena paksa keluar esok. So mommy x sabar nak tunggu 8am sebab doctor said they will do the procedure by 8am.

At 3.45pm mommy rasa sakit perut. Tapi i was too sleepy and malas, so i thought just sleep and pain will go away. Mesti makan banyak tadi . But the pain came back again at 3.55am, then 4.10 am.Mommy dah pelik. Then 4.15..the time was getting faster. Mommy terduduk...confuse, whether is it labour pains or what. then mommy ingat, if its every 5minutes dah dekat dah nak labour. Mommy call the nurse tapi after doctor checked dia kata still lama. Doc ask me to go back to bed and sleep.He will give me pain killer. Tapi masa mommy balik bed, x boleh jalan. The pain was unbearable tapi tadela mommy nak nangis ke jerit sebab dia datang and pergi. So bila datang pain mommy grip katil. After 1 hour doctor test mommy, mommy dah x tahan. Pain macam nak push. then mommy tahu. Familiar pain, ni macam masa i gave birth to your sister.

Mommy call the nurse, and the confuse nurse (sebab doctor cakap dia lama lagi, tapi dia tengok mommy macam dah nak beranak) come and gave me the jab. Mommy cakap, cannot i nak push. So she checked mommy and she got a shock. She said,' The baby head dah nak keluar cepat get her on the trolley and push into labour.'. Masa tu 5.50am, mommy just sms papa sebelum tu ask to come and teman me sebab sakit belakang sangat. As they push mommy out from ward, mommy dengar orang mengaji nak subuh.Mommy nampak Masjid Negeri not far from the walkway... Mommy rasa calm balik. Cantik sangat that morning Sofea, just like you. X sempat register kat reception, nurse terus push in to labour room-transfer me on bed and cut waterbag..that was 5.55am. 5 minutes later you were born. Sharp 6, with azan subuh.

So sayang, see mommy loves you so much. You never were a troublesome baby, from the day you were born till now. Always independent and strong. Happy Birthday My Sofea Hannah...May ALLAH blessed you will all the best in life and thereafter. I dont ask for much, just grow up and learn the ways of life as it is and always remember, He the one Above is the One most Important to you!! Then comes your life and family, and then comes the rest..
