#MyFamily- Wooden Year

Yess...5 yers married. Its a long way..23 June 2012 marks 11 years i have been with hubby, 6 years of courtship and 5 years of marriage. yes exactly on the same date it all happen. This year since its 5..Wooden year so he said lets make this mark a bit special..So he ask me to plan a trip somewhere (ade ke aku yang kena plan)..but thinking back..he did actually cause he choosed everything.

The Redang Trip 


I packed 2 days ahead...xke excited sangat ni. 1. cause its our Anniversary and HE plan it, 2 i have 2 kids now and 3rd coming up, 3 i have family as companions on the trip and 4.My sisters 1st time to east coast and 5. i need to get away from KL. I invited ZM to join but last minute she couldnt make it but that nite she took us out for Sate at Sate Station to bid farewell...ko tahu x ZM sampai ke pagi sendawa bau sate je..ceit!..Anyway My sister and her husband carpool in our Hilux making it cosier than ever. We laugh, chatted, sakat menyakat and had fun with the 2 kids from 11 pm right to 2am when we reach Cherating. Stop to have a drink and eat at one of the shops. Wondered what ikan Jebong is?...My sister's 1st trip to east coast and it was her birthday on the same day as my Anniversary.  We waited for our chaperon-Mamu Nizam and Aunty Shan from Singapore to arrive. Yippe...

Mamu nizam was a bit lambat cause travel malam ngantuk, jadi we stop at slept kejap kat LEGEND...punya signboard...ahaha tepi jalan je and about half an hour they arrive so we headed to Kuala Terengganu. The hometown of Ana Banana...(seriusly Ana so loved Terengganu). We stop at Rantau Abang for a while and reach KT 7am. Carik breakfast la pulak. Yang funny, banyak kedai bukak but when we walk in, actually dorang baru nak tutup..cam tercengang kitorg..what? baru nak tutup? ni kedai ke disko?...but we found a cosy shop serving nasi lemak ikan tongkol..whatever la lapar..Join us for breakfast was Muse@ mustakim a close friend of ours...sebelum kitorg kawin lagi. Lucky we remembered him so we x payah nak park dekat jetty, we park at his house and he was kind enough to send and pick us up from the jetty. Thanks Muse...!!!

We check in at the counter. Our ride was 9am. so we had half an hour to rest at the jetty. Seeing the ferry "Sejahtera Ferry" reminded me so much of my college days when me and him will be coming back from our hometowns and meeting at the jetty for our ride back to college..Yes met on an island we love the island-we are islanders..Going to Redang most of us slept. I was tired i did not sleep for more than 15 hours and nausea. I rested and got up to get the glimpse of some of the islands. We are there...and Yes..the water was deep blue and as we neared in..the water turn to Buncho Water Colour Light Blue. Like someone put that colouring in the water. Super clear. it was Awesome!!
