::My World:: Excuse me..mind what you say!!::

I had a strange encounter today. There was a customer from Indonesia walk into buy a pair of Men Shirt ( at that point i did not know where he was from until later). Since the pattern he wanted did not have the size, i suggested to him another. He tried it in the fitting and said it was comfy and nice. He took a second look at the mirror and said no. He looks like a  Muslim...I gave him a very sharp look, i was insulted. He then look at me and said it again giving me a very menyampah kind of look. Was he trying to make me loose my patience? or insuldt me? He took another shirt and as he was paying (still giving him the x puas hati look i ask).

Me:: Dari mana ni Encik?
Him:: Dari Indonesia, mahu sambut natal di sini.Kamu dari mana?
Me:: Saya dari sini la.
Him:: *Looking startled and puzzled* Orang malaysia?
Me:: * With a high irritated pitch* Ya la orang malaysia la.
Him:: Ouh maaf ya tadi. Maaf ya...saya tidak tahu.Maaf cik...

Apakah maksud orang ini? Does this mean if i am a Indonesian Muslim its okay to insult but because I am a Malaysian, so he appologize. He wasn't racist but it was religious discrimination. It has nothing to do with race...and it was an Insult..mind you. we in malaysia are thought to respect all other religion and races..Ceh..I got a good mind just to give him 'words'...
